Einstein for the President by answering formula questions

Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14th, 1879. I chose a German mathematician because I am half German and wanted to know more about math in German culture. In 1896, Albert Einstein renounced his citizenship. And in 1901, he became a Swiss citizen. Einstein became a U.S. citizen in 1940 and died an American citizen April 18, 1955 at the age of 76.

His body was cremated, however his brain was removed and an autopsy was performed by Thomas Harvey. Albert Einstein proved the existence of the atom and showed that they contained a mass amount of energy using E=mc2. He discovered this at the age of 26.

His discovery of the theory of relativity changed the way the scientific community viewed the cosmos. He changed the way we viewed the space-time relationship in that they coexist. His works provided the basis for advances in the control of atomic energy. This opened up new ideas in the nuclear weapon department. Einstein won a Nobel Prize in 1921 for his explanation of the photoelectric effect.

Albert Einstein is thought by many to have invented the atomic bomb. This is incorrect. He did sign a letter to President Franklin Roosevelt warning about Germany’s use of the uranium atom. He aided the scientists working on the atomic bomb for the President by answering formula questions as well. Einstein wrote, 5 months before his death, that he regrets signing the letter to the President urging to build the bomb.

This, he says, was his one regret during his career. Albert Einstein was one of the greatest thinkers to have walked on this earth and his discoveries are the foundation the knowledge we have today.
